Hi, i recently bought a 17 foot baja with a 150 johnson on it. the boat handle awfull. when on plane and trimeb up, it doesnt steer it just wants to go straight, if i trim down, a lot. it will turn. the boat is a shallow v hull and im not use to out boards. i own inboards sterns and jet drives. this is my first outboard, not to impressed although it is fast, @60+mph.  is this normall?

Hello depending on engine height you might be over trimming. If cavitation or prop slippimg then probably over trimming or engine too high. type of prop will also help with handling high speed
