I have a 1990 evinrude E200TXESM and wanted to remove the VRO pump because I use too much oil and my motor smokes excessively. I am going to add the oil to my gas tank.If anyone has any info on diagrams and what to do with the wiring i would be thank full.

All you need to do is unplug the electrical plug from the VRO and cap or plug the oil line on the motor. The VRO will still work as a fuel pump.

Just a question on this.If you disconnect the electrial plug to the VRO then how does it act as a fuel pump with no power going to it?

I beleive it works off the engine's vacuum pulses in the crankcase.

That is correct, The only thing the plug does is supply power to the alarm system built into the VRO. You can leave it plugged in but your alarm will sound.  Mike
