Have had a knocking noise from engine, removed powerhead, and took crank cover off, all cylinder walls look good, No visible damage to any bearings, crank, or rod, pistons seem to be in good shape, I know it is hard to say without seeing for yourself, but any ideas on what to check would be appreciated, also one piston was clean as if getting water in cylinder, would this cause knocking noise?  Thank you.

Hello if knocking noise only happens during deceleration it is normal. If water is present check for rust on crank and rods.
