everything seems to be running find, then at about 3500 rpms the tach drops to 0 for no apparent reason. i stop and restart the engine and tach begins to work again. when i take off slow or fast  it doesn't seemed to matter, the tach at about 3500 or so will drop to zero again. this is also a new tach that has just been replaced. Any idea what could be the problem?
