I recently bought a boat with a 2001 150 hp Ficht ram. The motor hadn't been run in 2 years but was winterized and stored inside. The marina started it up in a test tank and it seemed to run fine. When I got the boat home I started it up on muffs with no problem. When I checked the plugs they were very sooty and wet with oil. I'm ready to drop it in and test it out but I am concerned about carbon build up after seeing the plugs. The marina was supposed to put in new plugs but it doesn't look like they did. I would like to de-carb before I really put this motor to the test. I've read several ways of doing this but was wondering what the wizard recommends to do this procedure. The motor has always been run on ficht oil. The model# is E150FPXSI, the serial# is G 04893198. Were there any updates required for this motor. The previous owner says that none were done. Thanks, John
