Hi. I also can't get the tach to work. Is there a wire diagram for this too? Thanks Mike.

Hi, I have found all the info you need in the actual (not aftermaket) service manual it includes full wiring diagrams plus some trouble shooting help as well.If you are in good with your local marine service center they might make a copy of the wire diagrams for you.

Hello the grey lead from rectifier sends pulse for tack circut. with engine running should read 9 volts at grey lead. with engine not running key on no voltage should be present at grey wire. most common is rectifier failure when tack stops working.
