My question for you is this.  I had my boat out on the water last monday it started fine every thing was running like normal.  All of a sudden the rpms dropped from 6000 to 4000 and would not go higher.  I thought maybe i had fouled a plug so i replaced the plugs, nothing, changed the fuel, checked for leaks, cleaned the fuel filter, checked the spark from the plugs and nothing.  Later in the day i started the boat hit the throttle and the engine seemed to bog down. in low speed it runs ok but doesn't sound right. now every time you go past start on the hammer it wants to die.
throughly confused,

Victor Guynn

Hello I would start with compression and spark check.
